Linda is on the road again! This month's appearances include all three of the Weaver St. Market stores and two Whole Foods.

The Southern Village store in Chapel Hill, NC will host Meadow Creek on Nov. 13th, 4:30-6:30pm. Linda will then visit the Hillsborough, NC store: Nov. 14th, 11am-2pm.

Later that day, Linda will be visiting the Raleigh, NC Whole Foods store, to hold another tasting from 3:30 until 7pm.

Last for the weekend, though certainly not least is the Carrboro, NC Weaver Street Market, on Nov. 15th, also 11am-2pm.

The following week, Linda will visit the Winston-Salem, NC Whole Foods. She'll be at te store on Nov. 21st from 12:30 until 3:30pm.

Come out to one -- or all! -- of the events, to hear the latest news from the Dairy, and try our late-season, extra-oozy cheese!

Appalachian Club

Anne Saxelby, proprietor and cheesemonger extraordinaire at New York City's Saxelby Cheesemongers, has made us blush again. This time she extolls the virtues of the Appalachian.

"But all the while, like the stereotypical shy (but kinda hot) girl at the high school dance, waiting there patiently in the wings was Appalachian. An unsuspecting cheese whose subtle graces and lovely sweet flavor finally caught our eye."

We could have hardly put it better ourselves.

Meadow Creek Dairy is a family farm in the mountains of southwest Virginia. At an elevation of 2800ft, the combination of pure water, clean air and deep soils produce an ideal environment for growing diverse, mineral-rich pastures.

Since 1980, farming has been our craft. We have worked closely with our Jersey herd to give them the best care, develop the genetics best adapted to our farm, and in the process produce the highest quality milk. Now we take our craft to its next level, providing you with a full flavored, healthy, ecologically friendly cheese.
