Here at Meadow Creek we've been waiting (im)patiently for the new season's Grayson and Appalachian to come of age - and judging by the phone calls and emails we've been getting recently, so has everyone else. Both cheeses will finally celebrate their 60-day birthdays within the week and will be released for sale beginning June 28th. We've had two vats in operation from the start this year and anticipate having enough in stock at release to meet all orders. We are now accepting orders for shipment the week of June 28th. However, order confirmations will not go out until early next week. For retail customers, we strongly encourage you to visit one of our stores -- we handle no retail business at this stage. Sorry! |

A chance encounter in Winston-Salem, NC brought Michael Hastings, a Winston-Salem Journal reporter, to the farm about two weeks ago. The result of his visit appeared in the Journal on Wednesday, May 20th. The article mentions a beer and cheese tasting this Saturday. This is absolutely correct: Co-owners Helen and Rick will be at City Beverage in downtown Winston-Salem tomorrow from noon until 4pm. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by and enjoy the selection! Directions to City Beverage at 915 Burke St., Winston-Salem, NC |
