Our calving season officially begins on March 16th, when the first cow was due to calve… and unofficially began yesterday, when one of the girls jumped the gun on her due date by two weeks. Both she and the calf are fine and healthy, and we’ve begun milking her, but let’s hope the rest of the herd is not quite so impatient!
